We visited the stunning Warwick House, recently to transform into wedding bliss for our bride and groom Pete & Laura.

We were over the moon when the sun decided to show just as we finished creating a beautiful outdoor setting for a wedding ceremony

Now that wedding season is getting into full swing Emex Events HQ are busier than ever!!  Our busy team of venue stylists are transforming wonderful venues (and we have posted a few recent dressings below ) We have been busy designing Christmas decor (yes in April) for our clients Christmas party nights (more to be revealed on that very soon!!) and on top of that we are constantly adding new brides and grooms to the Emex family for 13/14 and now 2015 too!!

We had such a great time at the I do… in Vintage wedding fayre on Sunday that I just had to share it in our news!!  We have just about recovered from such a busy day and met with some of the most amazing and creative suppliers for all things vintage including:

The Mount Hotel in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton was the perfect setting for the afternoon tea table in the Grand Hall – it was hard to keep my hands off the beautiful cakes supplied by Victoria at the Couture Cake Company and the vintage china from Jo at More Tea Vicar made it look all the more delicious!!!   We decorated the chairs with our ivory and lace sashes to complete this stunning look!!

We loved the table so much we just had to share some pictures!!!

We used a a pretty floral display to decorate our beautiful candelabras and used our vintage stationery to complete the look and had some amazing feedback from all of our lovely brides to be… we were over the moon!

So all you vintage lovers out there… make sure you keep your eye out for the next ” I do… in vintage” wedding fayre…they are not to be missed

We are looking for enthusiastic and hard working individuals who would like to gain experience working within the venue styling industry.  The nature of this role is incredibly physical and includes manual lifting and so you must be physically fit as well as creative and have an eye for detail.

The role is ad hoc and so flexibility is imperative -including early starts and late evenings and the ability to work weekends.  A car / van is essential.

I just wanted to share with you our recent transformation of the Holiday Inn, Great Barr, Birmingham using our Chair Covers, Baby Pink Sashes, Lilly Vase Centrepieces and our Long and low table arrangement.  Our colour theme was pink and so we used hot pink Gerbera’s and white roses and added to the isle by adding Gerberas to the Sashes – we think it looks beautiful!!
